She did this pose in her dance...so cute

Megan had her dance recital at the Smith Center yesterday. She did a jazz number to the
Grease song and a ballet number entitled Lanchberry. She did so well, though I may be
biased! This is her fourth recital with Bunker and it is so fun to see her grow and improve
each year. Next year she is so excited to be part of the Sparklers dance team. I am so proud
of my cute red head!

We were all excited for the last day of school.  I made each of the kids a candy lei to put around their necks when I picked them up from school.  We all went on a Sonic run and then came home to celebrate.  Dinner was a pizza party followed by roasting marshmallows for s'mores.

Megan was so happy Daddy could baptize her

Just chillin!
Megan was baptized on Saturday, June 2.  We had a nice morning going to Parker's hockey game and spending time with family.  We were so grateful to my friend, Gabby for braiding Megan's hair for us, since that is clearly not my forte!  At 3:30 pm we headed over to the church to get ready.  Parker's baptism was awesome, but there was just something special about a daughter getting baptized.  I guess it was because I got to be more involved in helping her get ready and changed during the event.  We got to see all the cute kids sing "I am a Child of God" and then we headed in for the actual baptism.  There was such a happy and sweet spirit about the baptism and Megan was beaming from ear to ear.   We also confirmed her and the blessing Brian gave her was really special.  Afterwards, we headed back to the house for a taco/burrito bar, veggies, fruit, chips and dip and tons of desserts.  The weather was gorgeous and we ate and spent time out side talking and having a great time.  I am so thankful that my brother Andy and sis-in-law Traci and my Mom and Dad were able to come.  It made the day extra special!

Got his diploma!!

Colton and his teacher Ms. Jackie
My little man graduated from preschool today!  I can't believe a whole year has flown by and he is ready for kindergarten!  The preschool class put on a cute program for us.  Colton was typical Colton and was covering his face for pictures (although I did get a few good ones) and running into the audience multiple times.  I made the comment, "I hope you weren't crazy like this during preschool."  And one of the little girls in his class said, "Don't worry he was!"  Finally, as the program started, he settled down and got into.  The class gave us the pledge of allegiance and serenaded us with Hello, ABCs, and counting.  He has learned to write his name and can write all his letters and numbers.  Go Bubba!  He has also grown a whole 2 inches over the past school year.  Thanks to Ms. Jackie for being such an amazing teacher.  I am one proud mama!

Disneyland!!

Outside Mr. Toad's Wild ride...don't they look thrilled?

Splash Mountain...my favorite ride!  Boy did I get wet!
We had a really fun trip to Disneyland this year with the family.  We were so glad that my mom as well as our good friends the Wimpees were able to come with us.  The weather was gorgeous, and, for the most part, the lines weren't too long.  We were able to hit all of our favorites and enjoyed our time as a family.  The only bummer was that my camera was stolen, hence the sparse photos (thanks to Brian and the Wimpees we have a record of our trip).   Whoever you are Mr. Thief, I hope you are enjoying my camera!  I just wish I had the memory card!   SIGH!  Laynee did very well for her first trip to Disneyland.  She didn't even cry when grandma had an unfortunate trip over Colton!  Thanks Mickey Mouse's nurse for bandaging up my mom!!  I think I also established a record for number of different rides you can nurse a baby on!!

Cub Scout Day Camp

Parker ready for the day hike

It was a VERY hot day!

Part way thru the hike

Building a fire
Parker was able to attend the cub scout day camp a few weeks ago.  This is always a fun 3 day event for the scouts and he was able to do a lot of fun activities.  Some of his favorites were archery, bb gun shooting and going on the hike with Dad and his best friend, Jayden.  Since Parker is almost 11, this will be his last day camp....sniff sniff.  But I'm sure he will have plenty of fun experiences in regular scouts.  I guess we will do this all over again in a few years with Colton.....
