Look what those naughty wee people did!!

St. Patty's Day was a lot of fun this year.  We woke up to see that the little people had done all sorts of naughty things around the house.  They knocked over chairs, left a green deposit in the toilet with little footprints on the seat and left cookie cutter traps to try to catch Megan and Colton.  When the kids found a plethera of Chocolate gold coins sprinkled on the table, all was forgiven!  We enjoyed a fun breakfast of rainbow muffins and sent everyone to school with a little spot of green so they wouldn't get pinched!  After school we had our traditional shamrock shakes, a scripture treasure hunt for a pot of gold and a green feast with rainbow fruit pizza for dessert..yum!

The spring weather has been amazing and it was perfect for driving to the mountains for a hike.  We headed up to Calico Basin and spent an hour hiking around and enjoying the view.  After the hike we enjoyed a picnic lunch together and the kids had fun feeding bread to the birds.

Laynee is full of sass and charisma.  She is cute and she knows it!  She is also very sweet and loves to give kisses.  She loves her gym class, story time and playing at the park.  Her favorite things are to load up her purses with anything she can find, go bye, bye in the car, eat snacks and get into everything.  We just love this little miss!

Colton is our cute, silly, full of energy boy!  He's always on the go and it's hard to keep up with him.  He has really taken off with his reading this year!  He also loves to play hockey and ended up on top of the scoreboard with 12 goals this past season!  He is constantly making us laugh with his antics and comments and I love all his hugs and toothless smiles.  Our family wouldn't be the same without him!

Megan is beautiful, spunky, fun and full of drama.  She has also had an amazing year.  She gets good grades, is in National Honor Society, Science Club and choir at school.  She is also doing well with her piano and dance.  She has really enjoyed performing and had the opportunity to dance in competitions, at the school talent show and for the ward talent show.  She makes life very exciting!

Parker is a very handsome, smart, responsible, charming and talented boy.  He makes us laugh with his sarcastic wit and makes us think with the questions he asks.  I am proud of his many achievements over the past year.  He is a straight A student, has earned his life rank in scouts, is a good hockey player and is a very talented percussionist.  He plays in the band at school and has had the chance to play at basketball games with the pep band and in concerts with the symphonic and jazz bands.  He also played in the ward talent show and will get to play for our Stake musical in a few months.  Just love this boy!

Valentine's Weekend was a lot of fun at our house.  We had yummy cinnamon rolls with pink frosting for breakfast, the kids enjoyed really fun Valentine's Day parties in their classrooms and we ended the evening with our traditional heart shaped pizzas and fondue.  Other fun activities of the weekend included and daddy/daughter sweetheart dance at Megan's dance studio, a fun BBQ lunch with my bro Andy and sis-in-law Traci and a Jazz concert with my sweetheart!
