Spring Band Concert

We enjoyed hearing Parker play the timpani and the snare drum in the band spring concert. They played their festival pieces, which were amazing! I have no doubt they will get superior scores.

End of the Basketball Season

It's the end of the basketball season and Colton and his team the "Aggies" got second place in the tournament. Colton played very well and we loved his coach this season!!

Colton gets Citizen of the Month

Colton received the Citizen of the Month award at school. He got to eat pizza with the principal for lunch and got a nice certificate. Wait to go Colton!!

We had a fun Valentine's Day this year. Colton and Laynee had class parties and Megan took treats to the dance studio. Laynee had melting Olaf Valentines and Colton had Minecraft gum Valentines. We did our usual heart shaped pizza and chocolate fondue.

Daddy daughter dance

Brian took the girls to the daddy/daughter dance at the dance studio Valentine's Day weekend. They had fun dancing, taking pictures and doing crafts together. Parker was at a friend's house so Colton and I went to see a movie together. A Fun night was had by all.

Pinewood Derby

Colton participated in his first Pinewood Derby this year. He placed 5th place and was so excited to do so well his first time building a car.

Basketball season!!

Parker and Caleb are playing basketball on the same team again this winter. The boys are having a lot of fun learning and their coach this season is awesome.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade

We had a lot of fun going to watch Parker and the Legacy High School Marching Band perform in the Martin Luther King, Jr. parade. It was a long wait until Parker marched past with his bass drum. The kids enjoyed all the hand outs, music and parade entries that went by in the meantime.
