Turkey Trot

Megan and Colton both ran in the Turkey trot at school.  They had a lot of fun running with the other kids and got really good times.  They didn't win me a turkey but they had a lot of fun!

Brian's 40th Birthday

Brian's 40th birthday was pretty exciting this year.  I actually planned a surprise birthday for him the weekend before at the church.   We told him it was a primary ice cream social that we needed to go hang out for.  When we got there it was all set up and kids were running around the gym.  Then the curtains on the stage opened up and all the adults were there and yelled surprise!  His face was awesome!  We had a yummy brownie ice cream bar, we hung out with a lot of great friends and showed a video I put together of his life.  It was a lot of fun and I think he loved it.  On his actual birthday we had a family dinner and an ice cream cake.  This is one 40 year old who is still as handsome as ever!

Megan' Dance Open House

Megan is on the Impact dance team with the middle school aged girls this year.  Recently they had their annual dance open house week where we got to go into the studio and watch them work.  It was amazing to see how much Megan has grown as a dancer this year in her tap, ballet, lyrical and jazz classes.  We were impressed with her skill, grace and hard work!

Parker finished out another roller hockey season on a really high note.  His team, the Jets, took second place and Parker ended up with 11 goals and 7 assists.  Wait to go bud!

Parker completed his Eagle project for Spread the Word Nevada during the month of November.  He asked for friends, family and others to donate books to this amazing program that provides books to kids at schools in need.  Parker was able to collect hundreds of books and deliver them to the charity.  He then directed "helpers" to clean up the book and get them ready to go to the kids.  It was a job well done and we are proud of him.

Opening presents

Laynee's birthday was a family affair this year.  She chose a pizza dinner and then a yummy ice cream cake.  Laynee enjoyed opening her presents with the help of Colton.  Her favorite was the Tinkerbell costume!
