Easter egg hunt and picnic

Tonight we had an Easter egg hunt and family picnic in the park. The kids had lot of fun and there was a lot of yummy food!

Spring break fun part 2

Megan chose mini golf today. The weather was awesome so we went to an outdoor course

Decorating the eggs

Everyone enjoyed coloring Easter eggs (despite Parker's face in the picture with the 3 older kids). This year we had a marble decorating kit and a glitter decorating kit. My counters are now tie dyed but all are happy. Now off to watch Charlie Brown Easter!

Spring break fun

We let the kids each pick a fun activity they wanted to do over spring break. First up...bowling...courtesy of Colton. Parker got the high score and laynee had fun running around the bowling alley.

Saint Paddy's Day

MMMM Rainbow Muffins

The Leprechauns were VERY naughty this year

The chocolate gold is gone....

Rainbow fruit pizza for the green feast!
St. Paddy's Day was a lot of fun.  The kids woke up to find that the Leprechauns had created all sorts of mischief during the night.  Their favorite were the tiny green footprints on the toilet seat and the green water in the toilet bowl!!!  The little wee people also knocked over all sorts of decorations and left traps in front of Megan's door.  BUT they did leave gold chocolate coins for all!  We all wore our green St. Paddy's shirts and headed to church.  Later that evening we had a green feast complete with chicken alfredo with green sauce, green salad, green grapes, and rainbow fruit pizza for dessert.

Valentine's Day!

Laynee gets in on the fun!
Valentine's Day was a lot of fun at our house.  We woke up and had heart shaped cinnamon rolls before the kids headed off to school.  Megan and Colton had made their own Valentines and were excited to share with their classmates.  When the kids got home from school I made them pink smoothies and then we headed to Colton's hockey game.  Colton had fun and played well and then we headed home for our Valentine's day feast.  Heart shaped pizza and salad was followed by chocolate and carmel fondue with fruit and pretzels...yum!!
