My handsome boys!
Of course, the best part of Easter is going to church.  We got to sing in the choir and the kids sang a song with the primary.  Music just makes everything that much better!  We were able to hear some amazing talks on the Atonement and feel the spirit of Christ's greatest gift.  After church we were invited to a dear friend's house for a pot luck Easter dinner.  Lots of yummy ham, potatoes, rolls, veggies and amazing desserts.  All in all a wonderful day!

Easter has come....

The kids and their Easter booty

Colton loved his Angry birds game

Megan got a pedicure set

Parker got a lego car kit...

Poor Laynee....diapers and wipes again!
Easter morning was very nice at our house.  The kids woke us all up early to look in our Easter Baskets.  Everyone was excited but Laynee, who got diapers and wipes.  We ate Resurrection buns so we could think about the empty tomb and Christ's Resurrection.

It was a gorgeous day on Saturday and perfect for an Easter Egg hunt.  I was very impressed with the kids finding skills...although we had to help them with a few.

Tie-dyed counters anyone?
As always, the kids had a lot of fun dyeing Easter Eggs.  Now I have several weeks of hard boiled eggs to look forward to eating...since no one else in my family likes them...lol.  We topped off the fun night by watching Charlie Brown Easter.  I hope the Easter Beagle will come to our house!!

We had an enjoyable but busy spring break at our house.  We had a lot of projects we were doing around the house but we did manage to get away for an afternoon and go mini golfing at a new outdoor course we found.  We all had a very good time and Brian and Laynee played very well together.

Rainbow Fruit Pizza

Brian and Laynee at our St Patty's Day feast
We had a lot of fun this year on St. Patrick's Day.  We woke up to find that the Leprechauns had wreaked havoc once again, knocking over furniture and leaving traps.  They did, however, leave us some chocolate coins..yum.  We all wore our green to avoid being pinched and ate yummy rainbow muffins for breakfast and shamrock shakes for lunch.  Dinner was corned beef and cabbage with all green sides (Grapes, salad, kiwi, jello, green punch) and a rainbow fruit pizza for dessert.  We played games together and had a blast.  I just love holidays!!

President's Day weekend was a lot of fun.  Brian's parents came to visit from Idaho, which is always a treat.  We watched a movie on Friday night.  Saturday we went on a picnic and walked around Corn Creek.  It was a little chilly, but so nice to be outside.  Saturday night we played games and had a yummy dinner.  Monday we went to the church and played volleyball and basketball with some other families in the ward.  It was such a nice a relaxing weekend together!
