Christmas was very fun and enjoyable this year.  We were lucky to have Grandma Bird come to stay with us.  The girls enjoyed attending the Nutcracker a few days before Christmas.  We also enjoyed seeing the lights together, caroling, and checking out the activities at the Bass Pro shops.  Christmas Eve was a lot of fun with a yummy ham dinner, fondue dessert, reading the Christmas story and putting on our new pajamas.  The kids let us sleep in until 7 am, and then it was a frenzy of unwrapping gifts.  I think the highlight of the morning for Brian and I, was seeing Parker's face as he opened the garage door to see his new drum set.
