I can't believe my baby girl is one already!  We had a pretty quiet family celebration on Thursday.  First we opened presents.   Laynee didn't quite understand what to do, but once the paper started ripping she was in heaven!  I was just glad she was ripping wrapping paper instead of magazines and toilet paper for once!  After a family dinner of mac and cheese (Laynee's favorite!) we lit a candle on a cupcake and sang Happy Birthday.  Laynee was a little tentative at first, but after a while she had a blast tearing into her cupcake and stuffing her face.  What a cute and happy girl!  I am glad she is a part of our family.
