Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was busy and fun this year with dance, a basketball game and a hockey game.  Brian and I were able to get away in the evening to the Stake Valentine's Dance which was a lot of fun.  Here is a picture of Colton with his glo-stick Star Wars Valentine.

Presidential Megan!!

Megan served as President of the National Elementary Honor Society at her Elementary school this year.  She was able to direct several service projects and completed the year at the induction ceremony, where she gave a speech and helped to induct the new members into the NEHS.  Great job Megan!!!

Parker flies like an EAGLE!!!

Parker officially became an Eagle Scout on January 14, 2015.  We are proud of him and all his efforts.

Snow in the New Year!

We were able to travel to Utah for to celebrate New Year's with the Birds.  It was VERY cold and VERY snowy.  It was Laynee's first experience with snow.  She ran right into a pile and stuck her hands in.  A few minutes later she started crying because it was so cold.  Once we got everyone gloves they were good to go.  Colton and Layneed even enjoyed sledding on Uncle Jon's mini hill.

Winter Break Fun!

The kids asked to go ice skating for fun during winter break.  It was very cold, but the kids had a fabulous time.

Christmas 2014

Christmas Day was fun and relaxing.  The kids woke up and opened all their presents and then we had a yummy breakfast of egg and sausage casserole and french toast.  We laid around all day watching Christmas movies, playing games and eating treats in our pajamas and enjoyed spending time together.

Visit to the Bass Pro shop

We always like to visit the Bass Pro Shop in December.  Not only is Santa visiting, but they have fun games and activities for the kids.  The kids love watching Santa swim in the tank and taking shots with the Red Ryder BB guns.
