We had an enjoyable time at Legoland this year, although I think Megan and Parker are finally getting too old for this park.  Laynee and Colton thoroughly enjoyed themselves, though and we had time to ride all the rides we wanted before heading back to the hotel for pizza and swimming in the pool.

The annual trip to Idaho was fun, as usually.  The kids had a blast running around with cousins, farming with grandpa, riding four-wheelers, swimming in grandma's new pool and making tie-dyed shirts.  We also had a lot of yummy food, girls day at the nail salon, movie night with cousins, and a birthday party with water slide.

We had a lot of fun for the 24th of July this year.  We were lucky enough to be passing through Utah on our way to Idaho and were able to stop for a yummy BBQ, games, fireworks and Bird family fun.

Unbelievably, Parker turned 13 this year.  We started the day with homemade donuts and ended the day with Parker's favorite dinner, ice cream cake and a movie watching party in the back yard with his friends.  They enjoyed watching Pirates of the Caribbean and eating treats and homemade root beer.  Can't believe my little boy is getting so old!

We had the opportunity to ride the high roller this summer.  It's currently the tallest observation wheel in the world.  It was awesome because we got the whole car to ourselves and really enjoyed the amazing views of the city.  The kids loved watching the planes land at the airport and trying to find our tiny car in the parking lot.  So glad we got to have this experience as a family.
